Born in Trenton Michigan ("downriver") and moved to Chicago for a job with United Airlines.
Retired to Leelanau Peninsula where my husband and I enjoy every day in beautiful Leelanau County.

I am an independent travel agent associated with The Travel Authority of Traverse City. I've been in airline sales with United and Eastern Airlines specializing in Hawaii and the Caribbean. Most recently worked with internationally recognized incentive travel company, VIKTOR. I planned independent travel worldwide where my attention to detail and industry knowledge allowed my clients to focus on having fun instead of worrying the details.
I chose to become a Viking Expert .
Personally, I enjoy the smaller ships, fewer people
and stops at small cities.
I appreciate destinations all over the United States but have a special affection for the Tucson Arizona area and became an official Ambassador for the city in December 2009.
Diana's Northern Michigan
I have vacationed summer and winter in the Traverse-Leelanau area for decades. With our move to Leelanau County I became the unofficial tour guide for relatives and friends.
Over the years we have stayed at a variety hotels, cottages and cabins. Our family history is woven through skiing, boating, fishing and many memorable meals cooked at home as well as incredible dinners at fabulous local restaurants.
We have found art, theater and music options to rival our previous Illinois home, while far more affordable
and easier to get to.
Volunteering experience with the
Traverse City Tourism Bureau, State Theater and Film Festival enabled me to keep on the inside track of the constantly changing opportunities for a fabulous vacation.
